As a retired SAP reservist, Richard feels the need to protect both himself and the community; he keeps a small collection of firearms “just incase the shit starts flying”.

John Richard Foster junior, A.K.A: Richard, Ricky, Richard the Turd and General Foster, is a 58 year old man who lives with his wife Sylvia in Scarborough. For the last 18 years, Richard has lived in Scarborough and has been a part of Civil Defense, Fire Fighting, Emergency Rescue Services and the Scarborough Rates Payers Committee. Richard has always seen himself as the Sheriff of Scarborough. Richard recently retired after being the head of electrical training for Transnet in Cape Town. When he retired he started his latest pet-project “Scarborough Security”. Richard and Sylvia devote the majority of their time to this blossoming company, Richard being the Managing Director and Sylvia being the Financial Director. Richard spends most of his time behind the scenes and lives out his daily life at home with the occasional patrol around the area.
